After my work permit got approved, I knew that the biggest obstacle to moving to Cork would be finding housing. I had been warned of the competitive market for both renters and buyers and could not seem to get a response from hardly anybody that I reached out to online. The responses that I did get told me that I would have to view the properties in-person, which wasn't an option while I was working in the United States. Furthermore, I was determined to bring my rescue dog to Ireland with me, which substantially narrowed the market.

Not only is it in an ideal location, walking distance from the city centre and from my work, but it has room for my family to come visit. The property also came furnished, which was absolutely incredible for someone moving from so far away. I stepped inside and felt right at home.
